  • Amazing Love and the New Evangelization - A call to love Jesus Christ deeply and His Church and to participate in the New Evangelization called for by the most recent popes (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Jesus: Our Eucharistic King – What is the Church’s teaching on Jesus’ real presence in the Eucharist and how to foster Eucharistic devotion in the schools and parishes (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Lourdes: The Visions, The Message, The Experience – Visions of St. Bernadette, my personal experiences in Lourdes, and the relevant messages today (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Marian Apparitions and Locutions – Looks at the difference between Private Revelation and Divine Revelation and seeks to understanding the Church’s evaluations of private revelation (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Mary: Our Queen Mother – What are the doctrines of the Church on Mary, What is Marian devotion and why is it important, and how to foster true devotion to Mary (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Parents: The Primary Educators of the Faith – The Church’s teaching and the promise made by parents to raise their children in the Catholic Faith (Audience – Adults)
  • Relics and the Incorruptible Saints  Looking at various relics and Incorruptible Saints and how they can aid in good catechesis (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Teaching The Three Expressions of Prayer – Teaches the three expressions of prayer and the forms of prayer, and practical methods of prayer in the classroom (Audience – Adults)
  • What happened to the Sign of the Cross – Teaches the meaning of the Sign of the Cross and challenges all to make a reverent Sign of the Cross (Audience – Youth, Young Adults, and Adults)
  • Where Ya Teens at? – Understanding teen culture in the United States and where to find teens to engaged them in the parish and school programs (Audience – Adults)

Karmen Bower's Workshops

 

  • The way of St. Benedict
  •   - The lives of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica, his Rule, and the place of Benedictine spirituality in the modern world.
  • Humanae Vitae: Learning the Basics– Ths historical background to the 1968 encyclical and an in-depth explanation of its central teachings.
  • The Poetry of Spanish Mystics  – A look at the poetry of San Teresa de Avila and San Juan de la Cruz along with its application to prayer and catechesis.
  • John Paul II and His Teachings on Human Dignity – A closer look at Pope John Paul II's theology of the human person and his understanding of the obligation to defend the life of each human being.

Andrea Jenson's Workshops

 

  • Igniting the Fire
  •   - Motivating people to live their lives with enthusiasm, joy and purpose according to our faith. Practical tips in evangelization while taking a brief look at the lives of the Saints.
  • Starting a Youth Group – Important tips and ideas about starting, structuring and maintaining a youth group in your parish.
  • Creativity in Youth Ministry  – Provides examples of icebreakers, games and activities that can be related to lessons in the classroom to add to the curriculum.
  • Chastity 101 for Teens – A talk available for 7-12 grade students in Catholic Schools or Religious Education Programs. Helping teens understand the dignity and purpose of their sexuality and how to live chase dating relationships.
