Maria Kasparbauer is a young adult whose hometown is Manning. She is just finishing her degree in mathematics education and is looking for her first teaching job. When she settles at her new home, she looks forward to getting involved in her parish.
Jenny Mohlmann is a member of St. Joseph parish in Sioux City, and teaches at St. Michael’s school in South Sioux City. She has volunteered at CAYOCA for a number of years and is involved with her parish. She is looking forward to celebrating Mass with people from all over the world and Pope Benedict XVI.
Fr. Brad Pelzel is a priest of the Sioux City Diocese, serving as director of vocations. He has joined youth traveling to the National Catholic Youth Conference, helps with CAYOCA, and many other retreats.
Brittany Poss will be graduating from Heelan High School this May. She plans to bring her World Youth Day experience and faith back to her friends. Brittany looks forward to being a witness to Christ and strengthening her faith while at college next year.
Mark Thomason is the diocesan director of catechesis, evangelization, and RCIA. Having been to World Youth Day before, he will be leading this pilgrimage to Australia.
Erin Youngers is a parishioner of St. Patrick’s in Sheldon. She has taught religious education while in high school as well as currently as she is student teaching at St. Patrick’s School in Sheldon. She is active in her parish through Eucharistic ministry and being a lector.
Allison Youngers is a student at the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University. Her hometown is Sheldon, and she attends mass at St. Patrick’s parish. She is a lector, a cantor, and a member of the choir at her parish.
