CAYOCA (CAtholic YOuth CAmp)
CAYOCA is a summer camp program in the Diocese of Sioux City that allows children who have finished 3rd grade to finished 8th grade to experience our Catholic faith in nature. "Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly father.” As in the past, the workshops and sessions at camp will center on this theme.

Online registration will be available starting on February 1, 2010. Following registration, you will receive an email including the liability waiver form, what to bring to camp, what to expect at camp, and everything else you will need to have a great CAYOCA experience.

Adult Volunteers Needed!
The fun and faith filled experience of your child at CAYOCA depends on the time and help of volunteers. These volunteers can fill different roles at camp: group leaders, music leaders, camp medics, or workshop presenters. All volunteers are trained the day before their camp session starts, and must be in compliance with Protecting God’s Children. If you or someone you know is interested in being a volunteer, have them register online (as an “adult”) or contact the Diocesan Youth Ministry Office for more information.
Cost
The fees for camp are as follows:
All paper registration fees will be $225/camper.
Online registrations before April 1 will be only $199!
Starting April 1 the fee is $225.
Program assistants, adult group leaders, workshop presenters, and leader team are asked to pay $50 to help cover their cost of camp. Parishes are encouraged to cover this expense.

Refund Policy
Before May 15: After a written request, complete refund minus a $75.00 deposit.
After May 15: No refunds.
No Refunds will be given for “no-shows.”

The Fr. Tim Fitzgerald Scholarship
In memory of Fr. Tim Fitzgerald, a lifelong supporter of CAYOCA, scholarships are available for those in financial need. Click here for an application.

The liability waiver is included with the paper registration, but must be filled out separately if registering over the Internet.
