Prayer of the Sick for Priests

Lord, you know my condition.  You know my sickness and pain.  You know too the hurt and pain of all the world.  As we recognize the need for more holy and courageous shepherds for your Church, accept the offering of my suffering for an increase in vocations to the priesthood.  And following my sufferings, may the ministry of these future priests comfort those who are sick in body, mind, and spirit.  Thus in all things, may your Son who suffered and died for us, be praised and glorified.  Amen.
