MLTF Scholarships (preK-12)*
MLTF Scholarships (preK-12)* – Funded by MLTF contributions, these scholarships are awarded to families who meet the income eligibility requirements governed by the State of Iowa.
*PreK recipients must be 5 years old by Sept. 15 of the award academic year.

Catherine Birzle Education Trust (9-12 only)
Catherine Birzle Education Trust (9-12 )-Funded through a trust, high school students are eligible to apply. Awards will be given to students that do not quailfy for MLTF scholarship.

education savings accounts
The Students First Act was signed into law on January 24, 2023. This act established Education Savings Accounts (ESA) for families. This provides $7,826 of funding per student to parents for tuition, fees and other qualified education expenses at accredited private schools in Iowa.
ESA Eligibility:- All K-12 students in Iowa are eligible regardless of income
- Students must be enrolled in an accredited nonpublic school
- Families must apply annually.
Application Process- Applications will open on April 16, 2025 and will be due by June 30, 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year
- Applications are valid for one year
- Families must apply annually to remain eligible
- You can apply for ESAs on the Iowa Department of Education website
