MLTF Scholarships (preK-12)*
MLTF Scholarships (preK-12)* – Funded by MLTF contributions, these scholarships are awarded to families who meet the income eligibility requirements governed by the State of Iowa.
*PreK recipients must be 5 years old by Sept. 15 of the award academic year.

Catherine Birzle Education Trust (9-12 only) SPRING ONLY
Catherine Birzle Education Trust (9-12 )-Funded through a trust, high school students are eligible to apply. Awards will be given to students that do not quailfy for MLTF scholarship.
This is scholarship is only open in the Spring and will be available again in 2025.

The Students First Act was signed into law on January 24, 2023. This act established Education Savings Accounts (ESA) for families. This provides $7,600+ of funding per student to parents for tuition, fees and other qualified education expenses at accredited private schools in Iowa.
ESA Eligibility: All full time kindergarten students All students transferring from a public school Any student enrolled in a private schools with a household income less than 400% of the 2024 Federal Poverty Guidelines $124,800 for a family of four.
Application: The application is through the Iowa Department of Education and will open on April 16, 2024. Applications will be due by June 30, 2024 for the 2024-25 academic year. Applications are valid for one year, and must reapply annually to remain eligible.
